Frequently asked questions
What does it compare?
The text on each page, line by line. It does not compare images, fonts or layout.
Why does it say no text was found?
Scanned PDFs contain pictures of text rather than real text. They need OCR first, which is not available yet.
Are my files uploaded to your server?
No. This tool runs in your browser using JavaScript that is served from this website. Your file is read on your own device and the result is created there too. File contents are not sent to this website.
Results may differ slightly from the original file. Always check the output before using it.
